As a therapist working with a philosophy of individual empowerment, and seeing it work every day, I’m glad to have my view of life. It’d suck to feel like we’re all just like plastic bags being blown about in the winds of fate!

Since you’re into philosophy now, you should look into the fact that free will doesn’t even exist. Where does that leave your beliefs? Did you learn about people fooling themselves with comforting, self-serving illusions in therapy school?
