Revered cultural icons that have withstood the upheavals of history are being hit hard in the war being waged by Israel and the United States.

This is not how you install a friendly regime. It is how you create a dedicated ally for Moscow.

    Blowing up cultural sites, killing leaders, murdering school children. None of this does anything but radicalize and unify an enemy. Given that this appears to be ALL that the US is doing, its clear that the intent is to simply create a generational adversary to fight against.

    Reminds me of the death of General Solomani. The Iranian response was “We’d kill someone in America that your people love and value, but who would that even be?”

    Americans can bomb Iranian cultural sites because they still have them. We paved over paradise and put up a parking lot.
