TIL work is not real life
That’s not a healthy work wife relationship then. If they’re jealous or hostile towards your actual spouse, that’s a problem waiting to happen. They should be happy that their work partner has a good life outside work.
As someone who had (and was) a work wife: I completely agree. Hell, I was in the wedding party (on her now-husband’s side) when my work wife got married.
Give your work wife half of your tuna salad sandwich to smooth things over.
