I just bought a new Xbox controller. Pondered for almost 2 hours.

A few months ago I went with one from 8bitdo (Ultimate 2C Wireless). Form, joystick, face buttons feel okay tbh but the start & select buttons are placed so stupidly. It feels off every time, never in the weeks of use got I accustomed to it. Annoyed me to no end and you cannot find the older versions (where the buttons are placed normally) anymore.

I ordered a cheap Gamesir (Nova Llite) one at the same time. Joystick are scratchy and buttons are weirdly un-tactile. Looked for their better models today and they are double the price of Xbox controllers (on AliExpress even).

Fuck that then I’m keeping it Microsoft, they always work well for 5-6 years and then I gotta buy a new one. Maybe there are better options the next time around.
