I’m guessing they’ll have an episode this season about AI.
Color me skeptical.
The characters look like classic 3D scans of the actors, but the text underneath each character is sure suspect to me.
Nah, the characters look like slop as well.
Something about it really seems full of the type of imperfections that you get from 3D scans, which are imperfections that you would not expect to see when asking an LLM to generate a depiction of a character. I do think those 3D scans were heavily manipulated, possibly even by passing the images through a slop filter of some sort. But I do think this image did start out as the five actors sitting and having their heads scanned using traditional 3D scanning. Any slop was just added on top of that.
I don’t think this image was created by someone asking an LLM a bunch of variations of “create an image of the gang as beer handles”. I think it started with traditional 3D scanning techniques and may or may not have had additional AI-assisted manipulation on top of that.
I watched from season 1 til the season with the ass pounder 3000. the show is still funny, but boring to watch
Mantis Toboggan and Ongo Gablogian are never boring.
I don’t find it boring. I find it one of the rare shows that steadily keep a constant level. The other one being Bob’s Burgers.
King of the Hill too
The only episodes I can think of that I found boring, were the gang gets whacked.
“Waiting for Big Mo” is easily the most boring. That, or “The Gang Does a Clip Show”, for obvious reasons.
EDIT: I just can’t get over someone thinking “Whacked” was boring. Just off the top of my head, that involved:
- fixing the circuit breaker and discussing how to insulate oneself from electric shock
- discussion about society’s unsolvable drug problem
- Bingo the shady people smuggler
- Nose clams and green people from history times
- the mobsters
- Peter Nincompoop and Buster the lawn jockey
- Dennis becoming a prostitute
- Dennis getting slapped
- Charlie and Dee on cocaine
- Cricket really starting to descend by getting addicted to drugs
- Cricket’s sweet kettle drums
- hips and nips
A ceertain somethin’ which may or may not have fallen off a certain truck, huh? And the certain somebody that we know thinks they saw that certain someone pick it up and take it back to that certain bar which may or may not be the place that we happen to be or not be talkin’ to a couple of certain somebodies right this very second. Capisce?
