A U.S. nuclear forensic laboratory later analyzed the samples and confirmed that the samples contain uranium and weapons-grade plutonium,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan said.
Weapons-grade plutonium. Where TF did he get that?
Probably stole it from the Iranians in order to generate 1.21 jiggawatts.
Careful, OP doesn’t seem to understand what a joke is.
Presumably, a centrifuge.
You so sure? The US doesn’t use centrifuge to enrich plutonium.
In Soviet Russia, plutonium enriches you!
Do you think maybe that was a pretty obvious joke?
Not very obvious.
By definition weapons-grade plutonium is 90% enriched. Besides being used for nukes, it’s the most poisonous substance on earth. Needless to say, the security around this material is as tight as we can make it. Somebody somewhere sold this guy some.
you don’t enrich plutonium silly
Got to admit. Dudes facebook profile photo is pretty baller. Posing with a bazooka and all that.
He does look pretty badass.
Sterling Archer’s on it
Archer, he’s got the case! Don’t let him get away! Calm down Lana, it’s empty. I hid it in Ray’s wheelchair while he was distracted.
You did what now? I hid… the plutonium, Lana, it’s this new thing called SPY CRAFT!
What part of extremely unstable and radioactive did you not understand?!
Well, apparently the core concept, Lana. Who do I look like, Marie Curie?
…
Wooooo!
And the Japanese reaction? „That’s just bad foreigners bashing our ancient culture, the Yakuza is actually helping our society, and anyway this guy is actually Chinese. If you disagree go back to your own country!!“
Do you have a source?
I’m guessing their “source” is a long-winded way of saying “I don’t like the Japanese people.”
It’s a joke based on typical reactions from Japan.
Hmm, could you say it’s a stereotype based on nationality or race?
Race, most often. There are quite a few Japan-born Chinese who go through a lot of discrimination, let alone those who are mixed.
Can you show us those ‘typical reactions’ and show that they are typical?
Definitely what I assumed, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Not that guy. I looked out of curiosity. It’s being reported on several news channels. Asahi is one. Yahoo had an article and said japanese authorities found no connection with domestic Yakuza (many are registered, believe it or not).
Actually I don’t see any reaction. Two major newspapers don’t mention the story at all, at least not yet. We shall see.
Didn’t check others, got bored.
