    Just like they used to tell the people in the soviet Union. They all knew it wasn’t true but they thought it wasn’t true in america either, and everyone was pretending to be happy. Someone coined the term: hypernormalization. Trump will gaslight everyone into thinking everything is perfect. Just like when that lady proudly claimed “it is a well know fact it’s the gulf of america”.

    And it’s only getting worse. The roads in my town this weekend were desolate. I fear it’s from people staying in.

    Plus walmart is busier than ever, which is a bad sign. People turn to cheaper retailers in bad economies.

      You guys still have Walmart? They ran our local stores out of town, then closed up shop themselves citing high theft. Now all that’s left is a 140,000 sqft husk of a store front that no business is interested in occupying and no one wants to pay to tear down

          Great idea! Community market with plenty of space for educational opportunities for the community. Even space for a cafe or two. Build our own Third Places. Parking lots are already there too most of the time.
