An “extremely active” shooting situation is ongoing in Pittsburgh after authorities attempted an eviction, city spokesperson Maria Montano said Wednesday.

Shots are “continuing to be fired” after the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office tried to evict a resident in the Garfield area and the suspect opened fire on deputies, officials said.

These days might as well… Go for it… there’s a war coming. America’s dead and not coming back. We had the mob try to get their guy in presidency… What the fuck more do you need to realize it’s not about us or for us. It’s all for them …it’s all for greed power and crime.

    You’re either a boss or a slave.

This ain’t the first time in American history this happened…

During the great depression when a bank showed up with a Sheriff to repossess and evict, the whole community was there with their guns.

If people hadn’t done that, America would have been hurt a lot worse.

The difference is cops used to back down, because they can’t win against a whole community where they also.lived. Now people mostly have to stand on their own and cops routinely live an hour plus away from where they work.

I’m willing to bet there are more people with guns in Philly than there are cops, it’s just only one group is standing united. If people stood united, the cops would back down and there’s be zero violence

But how are we supposed to be united with our neighbors when my favorite color is purple and theirs is orange?? And I mean, don’t get me started on the pineapple! They can go fuck themselves if they think I’m going to stand with them!

I’m saying when one person does this, they lose.

When entire communities do this, they win.

About as simple as I can make it, hope it helps, but you didn’t seem to get this last time either

If people stood united, the cops would back down and there’s be zero violence

Simplicity has nothing to do with it. You’re talking about something that has nothing to do with this situation. You’re hijacking the thread.

Sure, I’m a bootlicker because I don’t think someone should throw their life away over getting evicted. Clearly that means I bow to all authority figures. There’s no possible other option.

You of course realize you can die that way without ever breaking a law or picking up a firearm?

That might be why people are getting harder to deal with.

Car accidents happen all the time, that is why at the first sign of a potentially dangerous situation, I quickly drive into a wall instead.

When it’s a choice between a quick death-by-cop or a slow death from having to live on the streets, the choice can be simpler to make. :(

You might be able to eventually improve your life and get off the streets. That won’t happen if you’re dead.

I have one, the only plus was I still had a car to sleep in, at least for a little while before it got towed. Fun fact, I learned about the bank bailouts from my car radio while this was going down. I remember thinking that at this moment if I could I would detonate every nuke on earth and send us back to square one.

maybe you should go back and read what has been happening in this thread. neither of us could have been clearer but you don’t seem to want to understand the words in the order they’ve been presented.

I’m saying you seem to have no idea of how difficult it is to do because taxpayers don’t want to spend money on housing and social programs to help people get off the streets.

I mean if a cop is talking about a person, any person, the most likely thing they’re gonna say is “fuck 'em”

Hard to have sympathy for that crowd. Fuck em.

What makes America worse off today than 40, 100, 200 years ago? America didn’t die then when things were worse, there is no reason America would die now.

Are things better? 40 years ago was 1983. You could buy a house on almost any income at the time you could go to school on a minimum wage salary.
