I am putting this here cause I really don’t have anyone to talk to about this and am interested in perspectives.
So I met up for the first time in person with my girlfriend of about six months (second time overall). We met up two years ago as friends and just became a couple earlier this year. Anyways, we went on our first true date together tonight and we had a great time. However I just didn’t feel that spark. I feel the strength of a strong friendship that we’ve shared for a long time, but nothing I would consider infatuation from tonight. I was not prepared for this and I really am at a loss of what to do. My wife says keep going and see what the rest of the week holds, but I am not confident after this. For those of you that may have experienced this, how did you handle it? Usually I connect with people I have this attachment to and it is so weird I didn’t tonight.
