67 is a near homophone to a curse word in cantonese:

    碌柒 meaning dickhead

As a native Cantonese speaker, this will always be my official meaning for this

69 is eternal, or at least as long as Arabic numerals remain in use. 67 does not replace 69, it lives alongside it. But 69 will outlast it. It was first referenced in 1790 https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/69/ and will be repeatedly rediscovered by future generations

Gotta love 67. It’s so ubiquitous it’s become meaningless. From basketball to 67 kid, it’s pretty much whatever anyone wants it to be.

It originates from a discussion about a guy’s height, he was 6 foot 7 inches. However, that’s not really important to how it’s used, it’s just a mindless phrase to say.

I don’t get what the annoyance is with “6-7”. I’ve been using it for years and it just means “approximately” or “thereabouts”.

I cannot. You can only realise it’s been used after it has already happened. I can try to think of a sentence all day but I will not come up with one because it can only come naturally.

No, it just doesn’t really appeal to me and many others which is why I would argue that something that is funny because it shouldn’t be can easily be better than something that is funny because it’s a sex thing. In this comparison I think I dislike both equally though.
