However, some critics took the moment to point out that Afroman had used the popularity of hits like “Lemon Pound Cake” to support Donald Trump. A photo of Afroman wearing that same American flag suit and shaking hands with Trump in 2024 began recirculating online, which some claimed served as a “milkshake duck” rapidly tanking his online popularity on the back of his win.

    Well shit

While he was hoping through his shit with corrupt Ohio police, hunter Biden was getting presidential pardons and national exoneration in the news.

Not to hard to imagine why he would want to photo-op with the president who pardoned rappers from worse crimes. He’s gone on record saying her doesn’t support the trump administration.

His win is still a win for the people. I won’t support his music, but I’ll take the win against the cops.

We be glad be beat the cop case and still condemn his trump support. Everything doesn’t have to be black and white. We can be happy he’s trolling cops without supporting his political views.

Two things can be at the same time. Good for winning against some stupid cops, but also supporting a incoherent moron is also stupid.

They met once, and Afroman had said repeatedly that he doesn’t support the Trump administration.

      Stop spreading misinformative hearsay.

The pair also commiserated about “witch hunts” and “laughed about” them both “getting raided,” Afroman said in an Instagram post attempting to clarify what was happening in the photo.

However, in the same post, Afroman seemed excited that Trump liked his song “Hunter Got High,” which is a version of “Because I Got High” mocking Hunter Biden. And critics resurfacing the photo noted that the rapper told Newsweekthat he hoped to perform the Hunter Biden song at Trump rallies as part of a comeback bid.

“I might really be back,” Afroman said. “This one might take me to the stratosphere. I might be singing it at some Trump rallies.”

He also tried to run for president himself in 2024. He’s an entertainer, trying to draw a crowd. Perhaps he was implying ‘yeah I’ll take MAGAs money, it’s still money,’ or similar. He’s only credible for capitalizing on any given situation. All of it was promotion, and if you’re thinking, “he should have stood up while he could,” the white house would have covered it up anyway. So you fucking figure it out.

ELI5, why is he allowed to use the “under the boardwalk” melody, not give credit, and not get sued? Is it past its copywrite date or did he pay for the rights or something?

That line was likely one of the biggest points on the jurors minds, and the reason it went the way it did.

The trial is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a hot minute. So many ridiculous moments

Watching the cops listen to their personal diss tracks in full in court is fucking hilarious
