The Counter-Revolution of 1776:Slave Resistance and the Origins of the United States of America.
As the United States of America, celebrate its independence anniversary declared on 4th July, 1776, we take a look at the history of America, the events that led to declaration of independence, and most importantly why declaration of independence was not a cause for celebration among all Americans, particularly for the native Americans and the enslaved African Americans. “For Native Americans, it may be a bitter reminder of colonialism, which brought fatal diseases, cultural hegemony and genocide. Neither did the new republic’s promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” extend to African Americans. The colonists who declared their freedom from England did not share their newly founded liberation with the millions of Africans they had captured and forced into slavery.”
The so-called Revolution was according to Professor Gerald Horne, was a ‘Counter-Revolution’ a conservative effort by American colonists to protect their system of slavery. Contrary to anonymous role often assign to African Americans in the American Revolution (which Prof. Gerald Horne refer to as Counter-Revolution) the prof. lucidly outline their roles and their major impact. The book is a great shift in paradgim.
Professor Gerald Horne, is the author of the book “The Counter-Revolution of 1776: Slave Resistance and the Origin of the United States of America.”

Can someome help me with Matrix? Every time I go to try to get an account, it says I need a client, so I get client but can’t make an account on it.
I am happy to announce that someone has begun covering up the Gonzalite stickers all over my neighbourhood. They’re being covered up by Trotskyist stickers.
I am not kidding.

Got a dehumidifier because the 20 dollar air quality monitor i got says it’s humid as fucking shit in our house, and god damn this thing is fucking useless. I let it run all afternoon and all night and it barely dropped the humidity from 70% to like, 62% or some shit. Just for the bedroom! It’s supposed to be good for 1000sqft. It says it’ll suck a liter of water out of the air per day. It barely has a cup in the tank
6000 4.5+ reviews my ASS
Edit: the lying machine basically says this piece of shit can’t move more than llike 10% of the moisture it would need to just to do a single room. Why are these made
That is weirdly humid, is it that humid outside? What item did you get? In the de/humidifier space there are a lot of crap products mixed in with the ones that actually work.
Do you have AC? Using that will also help you.
I picked up a hisense dehumidifier at a bigbox hardware store and it’s worked well for me. A good unit should be quite heavy and loud in operation, and will also put out a fair bit of heat.
It’s 86F with 65% humidity outside. I stopped doing the ventilating thing opening windows when i realized even if the humidity is lower it being so much hotter means there’s more moisture in it. And the air quality monitor i got doesn’t seem to indicate any difference in CO2 or anything, I got it thinking it might build up in the bedroom at night but it doesn’t, apparently. It might be the AQM being a 20 dollar piece of shit but 70% humidity at 70F seems like it makes sense given what’s outside
We have an AC running (sorry Europeans I’m not going to die sweaty) and keep it at 70 (if it helps me seem less bourgeois the actual temperature the AQM registers is much higher) and down to 65F at night
I guess that’s part of the problem because apparently the semiconducting plates this kind of dehumidifier uses just don’t work below 65F (their fucking marketing is like operating temperature 49F+) but also it’s just WAY too weak
It’s this one, i’m too lazy to get rid of referall bullshit in the link though
It says it can remove 1L per day under ideal conditions. Yeah it turns out the lying machine says I need to remove like 20x that much. That’s like 2 pints per day and apparently we need to remove like 50. It says it’ll need to remove something like 2.7 gallons of water just to get a one time drop to 45%
It’s really shilling for this Humidex crawl space dehumidifier system, and idk, maybe that would be good because I’m pretty sure we got carpenter ants up in there, but apparently they cost like 800 dollars and probably more to install. My budget is more “whatever I can convince my partner to spend and they didn’t even really wanna spend 60”
I really did think this dehumidifier would at least work for just the bedroom, though. I honestly don’t know why these things are made, if they’re 10x too weak to do more than dehumidify a cupboard
So for context it cost a lot but I did pay to have my crawlspace “encapsulated” (sealed and insulated), and that was worth it for air quality / heating costs in my opinion. They tried to sell us on one of those crawl space dehumidifier installations but fortunately I have an adjacent basement with a heat pump water heater so I just installed air vents to connect the spaces. The water heater dehumidifies the space as it works, the drippings are drained through a hose outside the house.
I know that’s very specific and not applicable on cost alone. It’s just to say there are multiple ways to approach this.
I’m surprised it’s still that humid even with the AC on, but it sounds like it’s just not working very well anyway. You could also get a cheap mechanical thermometer/hygrometer for like $5 to check against your other devices.
Unfortunately, you’re wasting your money if the dehumidifier doesn’t use the refrigeration cycle imo, and that means like $200 for the unit. Here’s a cheaper one: https://www.amazon.com/Hisense-Portable-Dehumidifier-Removable-Easy-carry/dp/B0DBWY4W7S
I promise you it would work actually work though.
For the crawl space, if it’s not sealed to outside air don’t do this (water vapor will just continuously diffuse in), but if it is, you could put a unit like I linked in there, instead of the complex humidex installation, especially if you have a drain hose connected.
I think we’re just going to go to lowe’s later and see what they have that is affordable. Im a little worried about the crawl space because I’m pretty sure we’ve got carpenter ants somewhere but i think it’d cost too much to do crawlspace stuff
I’m so jealous of your crawlspace, i’m never going in ours, it belongs to the bugs
Good luck!
I’m doing this at you right now
awe you love us!! so cute
Why would I stick around for so long if I didn’t like you nerds?
UH, I mean NO YOU ALL STINKY I HATE YOU!
You know that game the kids play, “Mine Craft”, have you ever noticed the name kind of sounds like Mein Kampf? Hilarious, I think we should make a comedy sketch or a comic or some shit about this
Gonna have to do something about my ps4 by now, the overheating is getting annoying. Got thermal paste so might as well give it another go, last time is was a stubborn wire that stopped me but I’m already playing nothing on it anyway
