By vexillology standards it’s a bit meh. Tiny ass details so it’s impossible to see from a distance and so overcomplicated that it’s impossible to draw by hand. At least it doesn’t have text though so simplify the seal and then we’re talking.
But by the standards of anyone outside of r/vexillology, it is a pretty sick flag that should definitely be used everywhere
A planetary flag kind of makes me feel like we’re gearing up for war.
My favorite idea for a global flag was a small, sky blue pennant that’s hung above every country’s flag.
I’m still a fan of a variation of this one, if used to represent our species as a whole.
It’s not terrible, if it were to represent our species.
However, until we are an interplanetary species representing ourselves to other intelligent species I think a flag for “earth” is more relevant in most contexts.
For example, if an earth flag was flown along side a country’s flag, that conveys an intention of unity and cooperation. If a human flag is flown there it doesn’t convey much additional meaning IMO.

Aliens: it appears to be a part of their internal structure that houses their motor processes. The remaining shape is of when their biological processes cease, along with devices used to cause that cessation.
Perhaps the flag means they deliberately do this to themselves? From the look of their failing biosphere it would be apparent they are using accelerated means.
