devils advocate here, i don’t see what these people have to gain from disagreeing with each other. like isn’t the foundation of their whole thing “yes and” like they’re all on the same page because they work for the same agendas. I think they both have two motives: they are ideologues (neoliberal, fascist), and they are self-interested. MOST of the time, those interests align - at least enough to cooperate. But when they stop aligning to the point that any loyalty that exists is strained, then things fall apart.

But MAGA was built on conspiracy theories and their messianic leader isn’t looking so messianic. If the Epstein files aren’t released to confirm their belief in a Democrat deep state sex trafficking pedophile ring then what was it all for?
