    Can someone please tell me whats so bad about them, the Wikipedia page doesn’t have a controversy section for now and I don’t want to read through thousands of twitter posts

        You can disagree with how one uses the right of free speech, and defend said right, in the same breath.

        In court, free speech is free speech, and that’s the only position the government should have.

          In practice this isnt though- every right has to have some limit to prevent abuse. For free speech, there are 2: the fire in a crowded theater scenario, and assault. For instance in my state, assault includes specific threats of violence. (By specific i mean the kkk would unfortunately be free to say ‘we should kill all black people,’ but 'were going tp burn down t
