Oh I’ve seen this one! He was pulled over for failing to appear in court.

He’d been pulled over for an over-dark tint several times (the Facebook post said 8) so he added the “cops suck dick” saying it was harrassment at that point. One gave him a citation he didn’t pay, resulting in the court appearance that he opted to skip. All the links are dead at this point since it’s 9 years old.

Thank you for sharing this gem, banana

The people who do this kind of stuff are always the kind of people who are constantly doing illegal shit, and they call it harassment.

Sovereign citizens are that way too, so many of them have criminal records, they latch onto the sovereign lifestyle so they can learn spells and incantations to help them get out of trouble next time they inevitably have a run-in with the law.

There are many, many, places all over the US that basically fund their local government by pulling over people who don’t live there, and fining them. They absolutely abuse their authority to do this. There are so many infractions, many very vaguely worded, and broad, the cops can basically pull over anyone, just because they want to, and they do. There are also plenty of people out there with long standing video evidence of being harassed by the police, because the cops don’t like legal things they do, or don’t like their families.

If you think this is the end of these programs, prepare to be wrong.

You’d like to think so, but my dad, as law-abiding a person as you could ever meet, kept getting pulled over as he came home from work at 1AM almost every night by the local RCMP for about 2 weeks. And it’s not like he was shit-talking them and earning their ire, until maybe the 8 or 10th time, since he’ll be unreasonable friendly to pretty near anyone. It only ended when he contacted the detachment sergeant and chewed on him, then it was suddenly done.

        Sometime cops are just dinks.

“Do you know why I pulled you over?” “I can only assume, officer. And I’m not interested.”

Probably for using the possessive instead of the plural for “cops” - wait, no, cops would never be that just. Never mind.
