Always nice to see SMN linked/mentioned! While I strongly like the channel and have learned so much from many of their videos I just don’t have the mental energy to go into that mode anymore. The world situation is bad enough just from seeing news here on Lemmy and I’ve had the hardest two years of my life, both my dad and the closest friend I’ve ever had passed away and lots of other shit, so I can’t handle watching their videos anymore. It’s absolutely no issue with them, they do great work, it’s just extra weight that, while important, doesn’t affect me daily. Really want to get to a point where watching their videos is something to look forwards to, to have the energy to be mad about the world instead of a constant feeling of drowning.

I hope he’s paranoid. I hope every moment of his life is spent in fear of being killed by a stranger. Not the passive, “Someone’s out to get me,” fear, but real dread. The kind that makes you question the wind that blew across your neck. The kind that makes you wonder if that person you like being around actually likes being around you. The kind that makes you believe that maybe it would be easier to just…

    Team ‘both’ checking in.

If you decide to act like a Nazi, you should die like a Nazi.

…and if you’re a trillionaire, you should die ASAP even if you act like Mr. Rogers - sorry duder but humanity cannot afford you.

If someone had given Mr. Rogers a trillion dollars we’d be living in that “the future if ****” meme right now.

I like to think of someone gave a trillion dollars to Mr. Rogers he would have been a trillionaire for like a day, losing the title almost immediately as he redistributed it appropriately.

I imagine figuring out where to put the money and actually moving those amounts would take significantly longer, but… Yeah.

With a trillion? He could end all hunger, child or adult, and it would barely register on the mass of money involved.

It’s not like people ARE murdering Nazis in broad daylight, if anything it’s the opposite, and has always been for the past 30 years if not more.

Wow this is a dark fucking “every accusation is an admission”.

I was pretty sure elon has been trying to call hits on people through Twitter… this clinched it.

Thankfully he’s such a fucking loser nobody has taken him up on it. Real “boy i just wanna rock out at one of your sick parties what days are your best parties I’d really love to come on the day of your wildest party” energy.

You know what, I never clocked before that his fascination with the letter x is probably a substitute for a more infamous symbol. That makes way too much sense.

I’m pretty sure that his fascination with X began long before his becoming a Nazi. This is just a great coincidence that he could play up once he did decide to go the Nazi route.

Early 20s, perhaps? Around the time he ditched school and became an (gasp) illegal alien. It might have been during his time in a school also, I dunno. It circled around pretty heavily on reddit back in the day, at least. Someone surely has a source.

I never really could stand the guy so I sort of made it a point to ignore the everliving fuck out if him.

Yeah, I wasn’t fond of him in the early days and just basically rolled my eyes every time the Kaptain Ketamine fluffers would talk up his “great achievements” … like buying a car company. Or buying a rocket company. Or buying a …

Didn’t take too long after that for the fact that he was just a thoroughly vile human being to start being obvious.

Both can be right. I would like Elon Musk easily killed, and believe nobody should feel bad about it. Let’s face it, Billionaires are a modern day plague killing us in various ways. As such I want them executed for crimes against humanity, but might settle for every last one of their assets and a vow of poverty enforced by the public.

I’ve seen it with CEO types, they are egocentric so don’t realize that not everyone wants to be like them, or hold the same beliefs. They prop up their fragile ego with “I’m the best, people want what I have” self talk.

I don’t wonder if it’s because he’s bought and paid for so many “yes-men” around him, surrounded by sycophants when he sees people talk poorly about him, it just doesn’t line up with his day to day world view he bought. I doubt a single engineer who works for him has ever told him no, or that what he’s doing is dumb.

Elon is the richest human to ever live. His net worth surpasses that of some countries. He’s trying to defend Nazi like actions (including the Nazi saute) to strangers on the Internet. He could do so much good in this world, but instead he’s a piece of shit.

Hell, he’s got enough money to be Batman or Tony Stark at this point.

I don’t understand why people think he is smarter than average and why he has such an ego, he sounds like a lot of managers I have had who got to their position impressing uninformed people by repeating things he hears engineers say (usually incorrectly)

it’s worse than that. he sounds like every insecure, self-aggrandizing, semi-handicapped 20 year old who ever worked a bottle return at a supermarket.

he’s a man that NOBODY would ever pay attention to if he weren’t rich.

would be have any kind of internet following if he was joe blow instead of elon musk? fucking nope.
